If you feel tired, urinate often and can't seem to quench your thirst, you should contact your doctor or visit an urgent care center to get checked out. If you are not feeling well for more than 5 days, don't wait.
Type 1: feeling fatigued, urinating very often, being thirsty, drinking a lot of fluids, talking quickly, feeling disoriented.
Type 2: You are over your ideal weight, have a poor diet and you feel fatigued and you are often feeling sick. If you have symptoms and last for more than 5 days, you should call your doctor to be checked out.

You should have a primary care doctor and an endocrinologist who is trained and works with diabetes. Check your local community or online resources in finding a primary doctor and a qualified endocrinologist.
No, pre-diabetes T1 or T2 is not contagious. Being with other people will not give them diabetes. It typically is genetic or based on lifestyle factors such as obesity, a sedentary lifestyle or other stressors. If you are not sure you have diabetes, get to a doctor to discuss your symptoms and they will run a glucose tolerance test to see how your body responds to the sugars in your bloodstream.
