Can Wellness Coaching Benefit Me?

The coaching relationship is based on growth and achievement of your goals.  Its focus is on the present to determine where you want to go and encourages you to take action to get there.  Wellness Coaching helps you focus on your talents, skills and strengths to move to a more optimal state.

Wellness Coaching is not psychotherapy. Psychotherapy focuses on understanding, diagnosing and healing emotional issues.  Clients revisit past events to gain greater insight and resolve unhealthy issues.  Therapy moves an individual from a dysfunctional state to a more functional state.

*It is important to know that  wellness coaching can be therapeutic in nature, and therapy can focus on the future, but the two are not interchangeable. Prospective or current clients may be directed to a therapist, if it is appropriate.
